Ready

I am ready to move as you have not seen before, I move among ready people, those with open eyes and hearts searching for Me, desiring something more than what they currently have; those who want personal revival, corporate revival, and a present day reformation. For those who are not content with the same old same old. Those who hunger and thirst for more, for Me, and will not be satisfied with day old manna. Today is a new day, yesterday is gone – never to be repeated, an open future awaits, occupy it and seize each new day as a new opportunity to go deeper than the day before, to knock on the door of what can be. Knock in faith with hope that this is the day of new beginning and that it will start with you, in you, and flow through you. Hunger and seek, never grow weary or satisfied that you stop coming to the well to drink.

Light in the Dark

The beauty of some plants is not realized until they have been in the dark, for only afterwards do they bloom. Similarly, as a carrier of My light, you shine in the dark showing others the way and radiate hope.

Partnership

Lizard Buddies  I tried multiple times to write an article honoring mothers since May contains Mother’s Day. Time was running out when I received an email from the editor asking if there would be a submission for May; all I could do was reply “It is my hope”. 
   Two days left for submission and alas all attempts at doing a mother’s piece stalled out; normally I get an inspiration and the writing flows with little effort, but not this time. My prayer for inspiration was met with silence; or so I thought. While praying I’m still picturing this inspiring article for moms, I was not really listening and waiting for what He had to say, I wanted Him to go along with my plans.  
   Thirty-six hours to go and nothing. I finally conceded throwing up my hands saying Lord, what do you want said; this time I had open ears.
   The Lord was gracious and took the time to teach me a lesson reminding me of my own prayers; for no writing to be released if His anointing was not on it, as it would not touch lives. That I had not sought His direction but wanted my own based on the month of publication – because I thought it was a good idea. He continued with how I had said, though I make my plans I want him to direct my path. I had made my plans alright, but was not listening to him say go a different direction. I kept insisting on my own way! He reminded me of other prayers and commitments as well…
   Everything we do should be in partnership with the Lord, as a team, and there is no I in team work. My attempts were, I, I, I, – not considering my partners plans. A scripture I’ve read numerous times jumps out to me in a new way as I read it today. Proverbs 18:1 tells us “whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire”, (yup that was me),”he breaks out against all sound judgment.” (Ouch).
   More than an article to be written this month it was a lesson to be learned, one I evidently needed.  I hope this writing inspires others to remember their partner, whether in business, marriage, or other endeavors. We are not always called to do every part ourselves.  He calls us to be a part that fits together with the part He calls others to do, so together we fluidly dance the dance of life. The most important partnership we have is with the Lord, the one we must include in the decisions of life if we want the best outcome.
    Twenty-four hours to go and I smile. I think of the way the Lord acted like a mother, wisely using situations of life to lovingly teach a child a lesson. Thank you mom’s, biological and spiritual, for all your tender loving care and lessons in life. May the Lord richly bless you with earthly and heavenly blessings.

Light

Come in to the light, My Light, it’s where you are meant to be. In My light truth is known, all darkness has to flee. In My light there is no shadow cast over you, there is freedom and victory. In My light there is pure love, love that conquers all fear. Let the light of My love bathe you – setting you free to dance before Me, to dance as David danced. To dance a dance of celebration, of liberty, of joy; the dance of life found in Me. The dance that can only be danced as one is encased in the light of My loving presence.

I have watched over you in the joyful and difficult times of your life. I have been there rejoicing with you, as well as encouraging you to go on. It may be hard to believe My plans are for your good in the midst of a struggle, hold on to faith that I can work all things for good. One day you will see the mosaic of your life and notice the hard times are some of the most beautiful parts of the completed picture. Rejoice in this day for I am with you, nothing is escaping My attention.

Forgiveness

sunset silhouette-online   Forgiveness, what a strong and powerful thing it is; it sets captives free. Perhaps not the one who did the offense but the offended one, the one who was wronged, that was hurt; the one who is carrying an unpaid IOU because the offender never came forth to apologize, to make restitution, or even acknowledge they did wrong; perhaps they’re not even aware they caused hurt to another.
   I, as I’m certain many others have, at times innocently said or did something never realizing others were hurt or offended. Likewise, we have also been the recipient of someone’s remark or action that hurt us, whether innocently or with malice.
   Whether actions against us are intentional or unintentional a wound may occur, which when left unaddressed can fester causing an infection of anger, resentment, and bitterness. Unforgiveness is a poison to our spirit and soul leading us to wanting revenge, to hurt as we were hurt, and can even cause hardness of heart. The poison begins to sinisterly fill us and come out in our relationships, words, thoughts, and actions; it affects our attitude, erodes trust, and casts a dark shadow over us. It holds us captive, robs our joy, steals peace, clouds vision, chips away at our patience, raises blood pressure, hinders our relationship with the Lord, and allows the adversary a foothold into our lives; once in he goes to work to bring destruction wherever he can.
   I recently found myself going from being considered a wonderful person, helpful and appreciated, to being reviled by the very same person. Further it was for something they thought they knew about someone else without having all the facts; my guilt was that I knew the other individual. My attempt to speak with them about this and the actions they were taking against me and family members, met with a rage I have never experienced before. I was in shock, hurt further, and even became fearful of their potential actions.
   My heart was certainly not at peace; I found myself being adversely affected mentally and emotionally; which I didn’t like.
   What’s a cure?
   Forgiveness, what a strong and powerful vaccine it is. It may be a hard pill to swallow, but once done heartfelt, its effects are amazing. The individual who harmed me may never apologize or ask forgiveness; nor the relationship be mended. In extending forgiveness for their actions it does not mean they were right, that I am pretending it did not happen, or that they are getting off the hook. It means I turned over the right to collect the debt myself to the Lord, who is the just Judge, to deal with them and bring justice. I chose to do this even if the Lord in His mercy were to grant them forgiveness of their sins – as they come to Him; just as He, in his mercy, forgave me my wrongs.
   Forgiving benefits the forgiver; my heart is at peace, my joy restored.

Anxiousness

Being anxious and worrying make it difficult for you to hear Me and what I want you to know about the situation. Be anxious for nothing, pray, trust in Me, keep hope alive; still your heart and listen to My voice. Let Me give you insights and wisdom to help you in troubling times.
