Is This For You?

I was going to post something different today but was impressed to share the following.

Someone is listening (reading) and needs to hear how loved they are. The world has beaten you down and hope is fading. You need to know that God is the God of hope who you can turn to, call out to, and share the deepest hurts, anguish, and feelings with, don’t hold them in; it is like a ticking time bomb, a pressure cooker, waiting to explode. As you release it to Him the pressure, the weights, you carry will also be released. He (God) is not the cause but He is the help.

There was a scripture John 4:26 “Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.

This refers to John 4:25, where Jesus is having a conversation with the Samaritan woman at the well – “The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.”

To add my own comment, the Lord knows who you are, right where you are and the circumstances. He loves you unconditionally and is reaching out to you, do not be afraid or ashamed of anything, take Him up on his offer.

Life

To those who have ears – listen, I was not born yesterday and am unaware of what you face or is going on in the world. I am fully aware of all things, including your specific individual situation. I know all things and the way you should go, trust in Me. When you think no one listens or cares, I do. When your heart is heave and burdened, weighed down under the cares of life and you want to unload – give them to Me. In those times you feel you are walking alone, look beside you – there I am; look ahead – I have gone before you; look behind – I have you covered, there is no where you can go where I am not. I would like to be more than a silent presence – include Me in the everyday happenings of your life, minor, mundane, and major, I’m here for you through it all.

Come and Receive

Do not be so hard on yourself that you push Me away. Know that I love you, accept my forgiveness, come receive of My mercy and grace. Come closer, do not stand afar off, come – come near and receive My love, feel the warmth of My presence and know that I am for you; come, come even closer.

Wait Expectantly

Rita - church topWhat do you wait for, is it Me? Those who wait on Me do not wait in vain. How long will you wait to hear Me or see the move of My hand? You do not wait in vain; wait with an expectancy, full of faith unwavering, and you shall surely see My glory.

Take Me

It’s a new day and I’m right here, don’t leave Me on the shelf as you walk out the door; I’ll do you no good left there. Let’s do this day together, I’ve got great plans. Ready?

In The Storms

Storms come in many forms; what is a storm for one may be a rainy day for another and vice versa. But storms…they do come.
When it’s dark with the winds of adversities howling and beating against us – fear nips at our heals trying to shake our foundation. When we feel we can barely stand another moment there seems to be a still small voice saying “My little one, listen to the sound of My voice, I will safely guide you through”. In that moment a glimmer of hope begins to dawn, casting a glance heavenward in surrender we tune our ears to hear more; tenderly He says “Come, My child, come closer, let Me hold you and comfort your distressed heart. My peace I give to you, don’t let circumstances rattle you; I have promised to always be with you in the good and difficult times. There is nothing you can’t handle when you are holding My hand”. Though storms continue to rage around a peace warms us, starting from within, as we hold onto His words.
When we gain our bearing one might ask, Lord, why did you not speak sooner when I was trying so hard to hear you? He gently replies “Why do you strive so hard in your mind – by your will, to hear Me, listen and hear with your heart. A cluttered mind has difficulty hearing, as does a spirit in unrest. Let My peace fill you, in the quiet place you can hear Me better”.   When we try to make the Lord speak by an act of our will we become anxious and at unrest.
When we consider King David, a mighty warrior, he never said he was unafraid but that “Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear…” Ps 56:3-4. We need to consider what we are thinking about, are we thinking and speaking in fear or faith. Is our words lining up with His words. Is our mind dwelling on all the past victories and times the Lord has seen us through hard situations or, are we listening to peoples horror stories and dwelling on worst case scenarios instead of praying in faith, and for grace to see us through. Many burdens are too heavy to carry alone, we are invited to “give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall” Ps 55:22.
I pray that when the storms rage that, like Jesus, we will be filled with peace and can rest in the tossing boat, secure and confident in our heavenly Father to see us through; that our ears will be open to hear His still small voice; his words of comfort, encouragement, hope, and promises. And, in faith, say to the storm – peace be still.

Honor

Souza flower 4Give honor where it is do; when you honor the one I have put into a position of honor, you honor Me in my decisions and sovereignty. You may not always agree, honor them anyway knowing My ways are higher than your ways, and My thoughts higher than your thoughts.

Praise

heart-beatThe sun will rise, a new day dawn, a new opportunity to see My love in action, My mercy and grace on display. Raise your voice in this day and do not be silent, don’t let the voice of the rocks be heard over yours. Let the praises of your heart escape your lips and come before Me as a sweet offering.

Flow

Flow with the Holy Spirit, the living water. In a river sometimes the water flows around a rock [obstacle, something trying to block you], sometimes it flows over, sometimes under; Don’t worry about the rock…just flow.

Hearing

Why do you strive so hard in your mind – by your will, to hear Me, listen and hear with your heart. A cluttered mind has difficulty hearing, as does a spirit in unrest. Let My peace fill you, in the quiet place you can hear Me better.
